Who he was
Revali was the most skilled archer of the Rito and treated Link as a rival. Rito Village keeps his name alive: the platform from which villagers take off over the Hebra mountains is called Revali’s Landing.

Where he appears
Go to Rito Village for the Divine Beast Vah Medoh quest, talk to the Elder Kaneli and then to Saki, Teba‘s wife, in the next building. She points out Revali’s Landing, which triggers Memory 2, Revali’s Flap. Inside Vah Medoh his voice explains that you must find the map and activate the terminals.

Quests and rewards
- Divine Beast Vah Medoh: defeat Windblight Ganon for a Heart Container and Revali’s Gale.
- Return to Kaneli in Rito Village to finish the quest and receive the Great Eagle Bow, which fires three arrows at once.
- If the bow breaks, the bowmaster Harth replaces it.
- The Champions’ Ballad DLC adds the trial Champion Revali’s Song and an upgraded ability, Revali’s Gale +.
Revali’s Gale
Charge a jump and Revali’s Gale lifts you on a column of wind that you can glide from. You get three uses before a 6-minute recharge, shortened to 2 minutes inside Hyrule Castle.
