Goddess Cubes and Goddess Chests

On the path through the Deep Woods toward Skyview Temple, strike the cube standing close to Gorko. Its chest is on the roof of the Lumpy Pumpkin at Pumpkin Landing. It holds an Adventure Pouch slot, one extra item space.

Near the Skyview Temple entrance, hit the cube. The chest is on a small island south of Skyloft. It holds a Piece of Heart. Read about the temple in the Skyview Temple chapter.

Behind the Goddess statue in Skyview Spring, strike the cube. The chest is on Pumpkin Landing, on top of the verandah above the Lumpy Pumpkin’s doorway. It holds a Gold Rupee.

With the Clawshots, climb the vines on the eastern wall outside Skyview Temple and strike the cube at the top. The chest is on Beedle’s Island and is best reached at night. Sleep in Beedle’s bed in the Airshop until it is dark. It holds a Rupee Medal.

You need the Water Dragon’s Scale for this one. Swim through the Great Tree with the Scale and, as you come out, look down to spot the cube below you, then hit it. The chest is on Skyloft, south of the Knight Academy, and it holds a Silver Rupee.

On the south-east side of the Great Tree, outside, drop down to the grassy arch to the right of the alcoves and strike the cube. You need the Water Dragon’s Scale, and the Clawshots make the approach easier. The chest is on the upper ledge inside the crater of the volcano-shaped island south of Skyloft, and it holds a Piece of Heart.

On the north-east side of the Great Tree, reached from the top, strike the cube (you need the Water Dragon’s Scale). The chest is in the Thunderhead, on an island north-east of the Isle of Songs. Kill the Walltulas on the vines, climb up and open it for a Rupee Medal.

Near the bird statue above the water in Lake Floria, next to a rocky arch over an iron gate, strike the cube. The chest is on the island in the north-east of Skyloft, and it holds a Gold Rupee. See the Lake Floria chapter.

South of the Ancient Cistern entrance, Clawshot up the high vines on the far side and strike the cube. The chest hangs on the underside of Fun Fun Island, so dive below its main platform to reach it. It holds a Gold Rupee. The dungeon is covered in the Ancient Cistern chapter.

From the bird statue at Volcano Entry, drop to the lower ledge to the north and strike the cube. The chest is on a minor island north-west of Fun Fun Island, and it holds a Small Seed Satchel, which lets you carry more Deku seeds. The area is described in the Eldin Volcano chapter.

North of the Volcano East bird statue, turn left at the junction to find the cube. The chest is on a minor island north-west of Beedle’s Island, and it holds a Silver Rupee.

Strike the cube on one of the spires at the entrance to the underground Bokoblin settlement in Eldin Volcano. The chest is on the Isle of Songs, in the Thunderhead, and it holds a Gold Rupee. Open it once you can reach the Isle of Songs.

Strike the cube near the Earth Temple entrance. Its chest is on Bamboo Island, and it holds a Gold Rupee. The Earth Temple chapter gives you the Bomb Bag if you have none.

Find the cube near the Bokoblin settlement next to the Earth Temple. The chest is on a minor island south-east of Beedle’s Island. It holds a Treasure Medal.

Ride the big sand slide toward Volcano Summit, take the first air vent on the left and jump forward to hit the cube. The chest is in a small shed west of Kukiel’s house in Skyloft. You need the Water Dragon’s Scale, and it holds a Piece of Heart.

At Volcano Summit, dive and glide to the pillar behind the waterfall and strike the cube. The chest is on the south-west side of Bug Rock in the Thunderhead. Drop from the stone structure to the wooden platform to open it for a Piece of Heart. See the Volcano Summit chapter for the approach.

The cube is outside the Fire Sanctuary entrance. The chest is on top of the Isle of Songs, and it holds a Small Bomb Bag. See the Fire Sanctuary chapter.

Late in the game, when you are working toward Eldin the Fire Dragon, ride the rising lava platform in the eastern room of Volcano Summit, to the right of the arrival point, and hit the cube. The chest is on a minor island south-west of the Isle of Songs. It holds your fifth Empty Bottle, as Bottle Locations also explains.

Behind the platform where you arrive in Lanayru Mine, strike the cube. The chest is on a minor island south-east of Beedle’s Island, behind a bombable rock wall. Blow it open and take the Silver Rupee. See the Lanayru Mine and Desert chapter.

In the south-west corner of Lanayru Desert, a ledge ringed by quicksand holds the cube. Defeat the Ampilus nearby and strike it. The chest is on an outer ledge of the volcano-shaped island south of Skyloft, and it holds a Heart Medal.

Ride the mine cart along the eastern track at the Temple of Time. Use your Hook Beetle on the Bomb Flower by the Timeshift Stone and strike the cube as you pass. The chest is on the plateau of Beedle’s Island above the cave, and it holds a Piece of Heart.

Bomb the cracked wall in the north-east of Lanayru Desert and use the Clawshots to reach the cube. The chest is on a minor island west of Beedle’s Island, and it is underwater. Take the Heart Medal.

South-west of the Lanayru Mining Facility, Clawshot onto the high platform and hit the cube. The chest is on the split island north-west of Fun Fun Island, the same island as cube 20’s chest. It holds a Life Medal. The facility itself is in the Lanayru Mining Facility chapter.

North of the entry port to the Lanayru Sand Sea, use the crates and a Clawshot target to hit the cube. The chest is in the storage area behind the counter at Gondo’s Scrap Shop in Skyloft, and it holds a Gold Rupee. See the Lanayru Sand Sea chapter.

Halfway up Skipper’s Retreat, Clawshot to the vines at the side and strike the cube from the pillar. The chest is on the same split island north-west of Fun Fun Island as cube 18’s chest. It holds a Potion Medal.

Outside at the very top of the Pirate Stronghold, use the Clawshot targets above the exit door and strike the cube. The chest is atop Skyloft’s waterfall, on Waterfall Island. It holds a Piece of Heart.

In Lanayru Gorge, left of the path in, hit the Timeshift Stone near the Life Tree Seedling spot, go down and strike the cube. The chest is on the minor island south-west of the Isle of Songs, the same island as cube 26’s chest. It holds the Small Quiver, which carries 5 extra arrows.
