Air and Lightning sends you to Hyrule Ridge to save Urbosa in Vah Naboris and Revali in Vah Medoh from two of the Blight Ganons. You win by clearing the ground fights, killing Thunderblight Ganon, riding the updrafts to Vah Medoh, driving Windblight Ganon off, and then flying the Divine Beast to wipe out 44 enemy outposts. Riju joins your roster partway through. Teba is introduced when the battle starts and becomes playable once it is over.

Table of Contents
Before you start
The recommended level is 40, so reach it before you go in, because both Ganons hit hard and several large enemies share the map. Bring your strongest Link, and level Impa and Zelda too, since you will want to swap between them. Meals that cut damage taken or raise attack are worth cooking; lightning attacks are everywhere here. You can play this battle in either order with Water and Fire, but both need Calamity Strikes cleared first.

Hyrule Ridge: reaching Vah Naboris
Defeat the four marked Moblins
You start in the south of the ridge, where Rito and Gerudo soldiers are fighting monsters around the two Divine Beasts. An Electric Wizzrobe comes first. After that the objective is to defeat the Fire Moblin and key enemies, with a counter of four on the HUD. Split your party up and take down the Moblins on the map. The way north to Vah Naboris opens once the Fire Moblin falls, so do not skip any of them.

Electric Lynel fight
An Electric Lynel stands in front of Vah Naboris and has to fall before you can board. Keep moving, dodge its lightning attacks sideways, and strike when it finishes a swing. When its weak-point gauge empties, land a Weak-Point Smash, then follow up with a Special Attack (A).

Thunderblight Ganon boss fight
Once the Lynel is down, your party boards Vah Naboris and fights Thunderblight Ganon alongside Urbosa and Riju. He is fast and electric, so give ground when he winds up and punish him when he stops. Wear down his weak-point gauge and finish it with a Weak-Point Smash.

After he falls, Urbosa fires Vah Naboris’s lightning at a section of mountain, which opens an updraft to Vah Medoh in the sky. A message confirms you can now play as Riju, and she stays with your group as you head north.

Elemental Hinoxes and White-Maned Lynel
Defeat both Elemental Hinoxes
A Fire Hinox and an Ice Hinox stand between you and the updrafts, and the Rito soldiers will not open the outpost gates until the Ice Hinox is dead. Take them one at a time, stay clear of their elemental attacks, and use your Weak-Point Smash when they stagger.

White-Maned Lynel fight
Head north to find the White-Maned Lynel. It fights like a normal Lynel with extra lightning, so dodge its charges, hit it when it opens up, and use Flurry Rush for damage. An Ice Wizzrobe joins the fight partway through. When the Lynel falls, the objective changes to rushing to Divine Beast Vah Medoh.

Vah Medoh and Windblight Ganon
Ride the updrafts to Vah Medoh
Step into the updraft and follow the Ride the Wind prompt to glide up through the clouds toward Vah Medoh. Several Korok Seeds sit along the route, described below, so look around before you commit to the last updraft.

Windblight Ganon boss fight
Windblight Ganon appears over Vah Medoh and fights with purple lightning, a shield and laser attacks. Arrows are his weakness: several arrows in quick succession should knock him to the ground and open him to melee hits. Switch to a bow user if you have trouble reaching him.

You do not need to kill him here. Once you have wounded him enough, Windblight Ganon retreats from the Divine Beast, which ends the first half and reunites you with Revali and Teba.

Vah Medoh outposts: destroy all 44
The second half puts you in control of Vah Medoh over the plains. The objective is to destroy all 44 outposts. Use Vah Medoh’s attacks, including its Aerial Bombardment and Cannon Barrage, to take out several outposts at once, and sweep across the whole map so the counter climbs steadily.

Windblight Ganon returns several times to attack the Divine Beast, signalled by a Foe appeared alert. Raise Vah Medoh’s barrier when his lasers arrive, and fire back while he is close. Keep clearing outposts between his visits. Finish the last outposts and Windblight Ganon to win.

Air and Lightning Korok Seeds
Open grass among purple flowers
During the White-Maned Lynel fight, find the Korok standing in the open grass among the purple flowers. Interact with it to claim the seed.

Dark log in the grass
During the Fire Moblin fight, head to the dark log in the grass. A Korok pops out beside it, so interact with it for the seed.

Tree stump by the northern updraft
Early in the White-Maned Lynel fight, on the wet ground, find the Korok tree stump. Interact with it to claim the seed.

Floating target above the updraft
Ride the updraft next to the stump to a small area with a floating target. Freeze it with the Stasis rune and hit it to reveal the seed.

Left of the final updraft
Just before the last updraft, look to the left of the path for a Korok on the lava-lit rock slope. The Korok Seed locations page lists these with every other seed.

On Hebra, Truffle Hunting in the Forest, Dish for a Diva and Flight-Range Field Trip can be handed in right away, and Teba gets bonus hearts and a Special-Attack Gauge boost from them. Once this and Water and Fire are both cleared, move on to Relentless as a Waterfall.
