The Great Plateau is a rescue battle. Hylian troops are scattered across outposts and a temple, and you must defeat the strong enemies besieging them without letting any ally flee. The route runs from the starting fields through two Hinoxes and a Silver Lynel to the Shrine of Resurrection, then on to the Temple of Time. Clearing it brings King Rhoam back as a playable warrior.

Before you start

The recommended level is 49. Bring Link, Zelda, Impa and Urbosa at similar levels, and a meal that raises attack or restores hearts, because there are many large enemies and little time between them. Remote Bomb and Stasis help against the Hinoxes, and Absorb Symbols lets you use the Fire Wizzrobe’s own magic.

Rescue the Hyrulean Army

Ice Moblin

Defeat the Ice and Black Moblins

Zelda begins by calling everyone to the nearby outposts under attack. The objectives are Rescue the Hyrulean Army and Any ally flees, so a fleeing Hylian Captain ends the battle. Split up with the Allies menu and go to the first captains, who are fighting an Ice Moblin and then a Black Moblin.

After the Black Moblin falls, a report says soldiers are stuck in the temple and rubble blocks the way. Activate the Guardian marked on the map to approach the temple from another angle. Talk of a shrine follows: you will need to bring a key item to activate it.

Hylian Captain

Aid the Hylian Captain

Cross the field to the Hylian Captain in trouble. A Fire Wizzrobe attacks here, so use Absorb Symbols when the prompt appears. Yiga Footsoldiers nearby are surrounded; Zelda steps in to help.

Hinox and Silver Lynel boss fights

Electric Hinox

Electric Hinox and Black Hinox

The objective is to defeat the Black Hinox and key enemies, shown as 0/2 and then 1/2, while the Electric Hinox attacks alongside it. Keep a safe distance and hit the Hinox’s weak point when its gauge opens. A Yiga Footsoldier thanks you and heads for the shrine when the second falls.

Silver Lynel

Silver Lynel

A banner says the Yiga Clan has started moving again, and another enemy appears, followed by the Silver Lynel. Stay mobile and use Flurry Rush or Remote Bomb to open its weak point. Defeating it activates the Shrine of Resurrection.

Shrine of Resurrection and Temple of Time

Head for the Sheikah Tower, as the objective says, and travel through the shrine. Allies are left behind. On the far side, aid the Hylian Captain again; fighting continues across open fields toward the Temple of Time.

A Malice Guardian is the next large foe near the troops. Defeat it, then fight the Silver Moblin that attacks the Allied Stronghold. Enemies keep arriving, so capture the stronghold’s defence before moving on.

Final fights around the stronghold

The final objective is to defeat the marked enemies around the Allied Stronghold. The Electric Guardian arrives while Zelda raises a pillar of light, then a Silver Moblin, a Guardian and the Fire Hinox. Mipha’s trident also helps in the fight.

When the Fire Hinox falls, the battle ends. The results screen records a clear time of 12:43.

In the southeast, bomb the rocks on the north-western wall with Remote Bomb.

Korok Seed

Korok Seed 4: ivy courtyard on the way to the temple

On the way to the Temple of Time, cross the paved courtyard beside the ivy-covered wall. A Korok stands on the stones there.

Korok Seed

Korok Seed 5: crate north of the Temple of Time

North of the Temple of Time a blocked path ends at a crate. Break it open to find a Korok.

Korok Seed

Korok Seed 6: grassy slope after the shrine

After you leave the Shrine of Resurrection, go straight ahead up the grassy slope toward the cliff. The Korok sits in the tall grass at the foot of the cliff.

Korok Seed

Korok Seed 7: stump and bush south of the shrine

From the same exit, head south to a tree stump. Stand by it and interact with the stump to reveal the Korok.
