Wallets

Big Wallet: 1,000 Rupees

Agitha‘s Castle is the second building on the right after you walk forward from Castle Town’s south gate and take the first left; the first building is Madame Fanadi’s. Give Agitha a single Golden Bug of any kind and she gives you the Big Wallet. After that each bug pays 50 Rupees and the second bug of a male-female pair pays an Orange Rupee (100) instead. Where to find the bugs is on the Golden Bugs page. You need this wallet before you can carry the 598 Rupees the Magic Armor costs.

Giant Wallet: 2,000 Rupees

Hand Agitha all 24 Golden Bugs (12 male and 12 female) and she names you a benefactor of the insect kingdom and gives you the Giant Wallet. You also receive a Miiverse stamp for 12 bugs in the HD release.

Colossal Wallet: 9,999 Rupees (HD only)

The Colossal Wallet is a Wii U addition. Clear the last floor of the Cave of Shadows while you already own the Giant Wallet and it is your reward. The first section opens once Faron is restored; the second after Ganondorf’s execution scene following the Arbiter’s Grounds; the third once the Master Sword is upgraded in the Palace of Twilight. The Giant Wallet is the requirement for the Colossal Wallet reward.

Compared with older versions, every wallet size changed, so old Wii and GameCube guides that say 300, 600 and 1,000 Rupees refer to the original game.

Quivers

30 arrows: the Hero’s Bow

Dangoro, the mini-boss of the Goron Mines, drops the Hero’s Bow, which comes with a Quiver holding 30 arrows. The Slingshot stays in your inventory but is rarely needed afterward.

60 arrows: STAR Game, first win

The STAR Game, run by Purlo, is a circus tent in a back alley off West Castle Town Road; you can also reach it through the lower left alley of South Castle Town Road. Pay 10 Rupees and collect every light orb in the time limit with the Clawshot. The first win upgrades you to the Big Quiver (60 arrows).

100 arrows: STAR Game, second win

Purlo then offers a harder game that needs the Double Clawshots from the City in the Sky (15 Rupees). Collect all the orbs within 1 minute 30 seconds and you receive the Giant Quiver (100 arrows). A third mode, a time trial against your best time, has no prize beyond bragging rights. After your first win, the three spectators outside, Kili, Hannah and Misha, cheer and drop hearts.

Bomb bags

Bag 1: Barnes Bombs

Barnes, in the last building on the right at the north end of Kakariko Village, starts selling once the Gorons are trading again after the Goron Mines. With no bag you are offered one already holding 30 bombs for 120 Rupees. Buy it.

Bag 2: Iza’s boat trip

At Iza’s boat rental in Upper Zora’s River, take the boat trip with Iza. She lends you a bomb bag so you can shoot Bomb Arrows at the boulders blocking the rapids. At the end of the trip you may keep the bag.

Bag 3: Zora’s Domain

Put on the Zora Armor and Iron Boots, sink to the bottom of Zora’s Domain, and set a Water Bomb against the large rock Midna carried over from Death Mountain. A Goron trapped inside is freed and gives you a third Bomb Bag.

Giant Bomb Bag: Iza’s Rapid Ride

Return to Iza’s shop and play the Rapid Ride (20 Rupees). Bomb Arrows are equipped: shoot the big pots floating downriver, 1 point for a yellow pot, 2 for a red one, and lose a point whenever you hit a wall. Score at least 25 points and a Zora gives you the Giant Bomb Bag. It is not an item you see in the menu, but it doubles the capacity of all your bags. Save before you start.

Bomb types

A bag holds only one type of bomb at a time: ordinary bombs (30), Water Bombs (15) or Bomblings (10). With three bags you can carry all three types at once, which is why the extra bags matter. The Giant Bomb Bag doubles all three limits.
