Every one of the 19 warriors has a set of character quests on the Hyrule map, 298 in all, and each one is finished by handing in materials rather than fighting. The quests make the warrior stronger for good: they raise basic-action levels, add bonus hearts and special-attack gauge sections, unlock Fuse Attacks and, for most warriors, unlock or enhance unique skills. A warrior’s first quests appear when that warrior joins your roster, and the later ones open as you clear story battles, map challenges and, finally, the whole story. Each section below summarises what a warrior’s quests unlock and lists every quest with its region, the step that opens it, the materials to hand in and the reward.

Table of Contents
How Character Quests Work
Find a quest by opening the Hyrule map and checking the region named in the tables. You only need the listed materials, mostly monster trophies, cooking ingredients, critters and Zonaite, and the quest completes on the spot. Every quest here costs materials alone except Bare Essentials, which also takes 1,000 Rupees. Many quests are chained, so the table names the step that opens each one: a story battle such as Terror of the Sands, a map challenge from the challenges list, an earlier quest, a scouting challenge, or the end of the story.

Reward names are used the way the game words them. “Upgrade Basic Actions” raises that warrior’s basic action level, “+1 Bonus Heart” and “+2 Bonus Hearts” add permanent hearts, “Special-Attack Gauge +1” adds a gauge section, “Unlock Fuse Attacks” lets the warrior join fuse attacks, “Unlock” a skill teaches a new unique skill and “Enhanced” a skill makes an existing skill stronger. Eight of the 19 warriors are recruited through scouting challenges, so their quests only appear after those are cleared; the list of everyone’s weapons and joining points is on the characters page.

Quests per Warrior at a Glance
This table shows how many quests each warrior has and how many of them unlock or enhance a unique skill, how many give extra hearts and how many add a gauge section. Warriors with a fixed weapon get most of their strength from enhanced unique skills, while the Knight Construct splits its upgrades across three weapon types.
