Table of Contents
Before you start
The recommended level is 47. Your party is Rauru, Zelda, Agraston and Qia, carried over from the flight battle before it, and you can switch between them during the fight. Take fire-element attacks, a character with a good anti-air move for when he flies out of reach, and shield-breaking moves. Keep the Flame Emitter Zonai device on your wheel as well, next to Zelda’s Temporal Counter and Temporal Toss.

Grimgera boss fight
Phase 1: airborne Grimgera
Grimgera is weak to fire, anti-air and shield-breaker attacks. As the fight opens Qia warns that he has come back even stronger, and he fights in a red, enraged state. When he flies too high for your melee attacks, use an anti-air move to drag him back down within reach. Place a Flame Emitter right against him to drain his weak-point gauge quickly.

He sends storms of icicles and whirling tornadoes through the party. Answer the icicles with a deflecting skill such as Zelda’s Temporal Counter.

Phase 2: grounded Grimgera
Once the first weak-point gauge breaks his wings are clipped, and he stays on the ground and loses his weakness to anti-air attacks. He is still weak to fire, so keep attacking with fire. Counter his charge to stagger him, then defeat him to finish the battle.
